Saturday NITE lecture~~

Yea u read it right!!!! It was saturday nite lecture not saturday nite fever~~~ Oh couple of weeks before me, ctot & Wanie went to a lecture by Prof Dr.Naquib al-Attas kat CASIS UTM... CASIS is stand for Centre of Advanced Studies on Islam, Sciences & Civilization. I've been there before on other occasion if I'm not mistaken for public lecture n kebetulan moderator die at that time is mantan rektor KUIS iaitu Prof Dr.Aziuddin... so kebetulannye dh penah kasi email ke dieorg so kalo ada ape2 event nnt dieorg akan email to me lah... jadi event nie pong aku tau dr email yg dieorang 4wardkan a day before the event (tp kn aku sgt annoy cos dieorg nie ske email hanya a day b4 event, n aku sgt ralat penah termiss 1 lecture about Islamic Feminism huhuhu...) 

This lecture is a series tau so die akan buat 2 minggu sekali n tajuk die mmg berkisar about Islam,  Nationhood, role of language a.k.a bahasa kebangsaan n mcm2 lg lah...tu sume mmg makanan aku tu so mmg tersangat2 excited ler nak mencemar duli... malam tu lecture hall mmg penuh (rupanye ramai jugak org nerd mcm aku nie, alhamdulilah hehehe) Prof sampai dlm kul 9.15pm cos die kurang sihat...dlm kurang2 sihat tu pong mak aiiii die still leh bercakap non stop for almost 2 hours tau without any slide or notes..salute u lah Prof..isu mlm nie sgt menarik, its about peranan bahasa Melayu sebagai bahasa Kebangsaan n how language blh memainkan peranan dalam racial assimilation in Malaysia... mmg kagum lah cos bnyk info baru yg aku dpt... the lecture hour sepatutnye dari kul 9pm until 11.30pm tp since Prof x sihat so smpi kul 11pm jek mlm tu... pas balik tu kami duk pi melantak cos lapooooo wei.. so Insyallah next time akan menjoinkan diri lagi tuk attend this saturday nite lecture..Okiesss.....daaaaa...xoxo
