Is it YOU??? OR Watever lah~~~

A friend of mine ada talked about the feeling lonely on her fb wall post... n it got me thinking that yea once in a while I do feel alone, lonely n will be forever alone (very the loser punya ayat)... Dulu2 when my mum passed away, I was soooooo determined to get married and follow my husband where ever he will be located. Loser giler kan impian aku tu... WHY??? because I'm the youngest in the family, and I'm practically don't really have a great relationship with my dad but we cool sometimes (to be honest I never ever had any memory celebrating raya with him n yea he is pretty much still breath the air as I typed this) all my other siblings were either too busy with their life n family or they just don't care about me or I don't want to trouble anybody. That was the time when I felt soooo ALONE n  LONELY, and l blamed Allah for taking my mak away from me. Life was extremely miserable during that time you know. Thank god for the an angel sent from heaven, sape lagi kalau bukan ct masitah md.zin a.k.a ctot, she was there from the very beginning of my medieval age that soon turn into Renaissance after all the blood, sweat n tears..(tears la paling meriah skali, ari2 melalak smpi kurus eh kurus ker??) 

Ok to cut the story short, thank god that all the past relationships didn't work out to the stage that lead to marriage. Or else I would have married them for the sake of escapism, run away from my problem, my life n my family. But if someone ask for my hand now (okay lets not think about the worst case scenario of no/nada/takde org nak kawen gan aku lah hahahha) n if l think u r responsible enough to take care of urself (he needs to be able to take care himself first hokay) then myself n the family maybe I'll consider it. Even though my biological clock is ticking like a headless chicken  I would never ever just main sapu jek everything that is infront of my eyes... hey we kawen to be bahagia not untuk makan hati berulam jantung hokay!!! But to be honest at this kinda age...I already started to have a vision of it is okay to stay like this forever. Tak kawen tak masuk neraka kan??? hahahha... (that was exactly I said to liza when she asked when is my turn to jump into the band wagon...oh she'll get married this coming August and nanti lah I will story2 bout it). 

Well how funny life is, in just a couple of years my most ultimate goal in life have turned into something that I just couldn't care less anymore. One more round of becoming the maid of honor then I'm pretty sure almost to 99% (told ctot already) it's going to be ctot's turn next. And then there is me AGAIN with the cop mohor at the forehead, the forever maid of honor (don't get me wrong, it is an honor to be selected as one okay)... Well then as I completed the 3rd round of my duty as the maid of honor than walllaaaa i'm jinx..hahahha Hai lil'jinx u just found a bff then (hissshhh lama nya tak baca Archie)... Okies tu jek nak merepek n merapik, dan misi nye sekarang mari lah menjadi kurus n hawt for the wedding..eh not mine lah tapi liza hahahaha Okies...daaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....xoxo~~~~

Lang Leav at KinoKuniya~~

Girlfriend should always make time for each other, that is the bond of sisterhood 101...and also you don't let ur bff know the day you got hitched through your fb wall cos it was like soooooo Wrong with the capital W hahahha apekan merepek nie  and Noooooooooo you can't shrew sisterhood. Beselah twice a month or more me and ctot will always keluar and hang out with each other doing our lil old silly and nerdy activities. Activities that only me and her would appreciate doing it with lots of pleasure. 

Our nerdy activity last month was going for a book signing session at Kinokuniya. The artist is a poet called Lang Leav, she is multidisciplinary kinda artist actually. I kinda shared 1 poem from her in my previous posting. Oh you can read more bout her here, mari lah click yek~~~

Punya lah panjang kan ni queue, penat tunggu turn kami pun berwefie bagai lah. sambil tu borak2 with others yang beratur panjang tu jugak...   

Time ni dah sampai turn kami, queue tuk beratur pun dah kena tutup pun...excited kan sangat ni.

Dah sampai my turn, actually masa tu dah run out of time so tak sempat nak mintak Lang tulis macam2 sangat. So basically just wrote my name and she signed an autograph sajork lah for the buku... Oh she is nice and sweet...as sweet as her love poems~~~

Okay ni muka pompuan chantek sangat yang gumbira... lama ooooo kami beratur cos abis2 book signing tu berdondang sayang wei perut..so kena la pi mencekik. Actually our girls' day out aritu adalah hari mencekik sampai pengsan..nanti lah aku story mory kat posting lain ekkk... okiessss daaaaaaaaaaaaa~~~xoxo

Throwback Birthday..#Part 2

Okay masih rajin untuk menyambung throwback birthday nya ni hahahha... Okay after the pre-celebration part 1 aritu. Masa birthday pak supir aritu kami pi birthday dinner kat Ben's. He loves the place a lottttttttt but for my birthday tak kan nak pi sana lagi. He ask me to choose the place for my birthday dinner plak, Kinda crack my head jugak lah, at first suggest pi Apartment Downtown tapi dia tak mau plak. Last2 kami pi BSC, kat sana kan very cosy cos tak ramai sangat orang compare kalo pi other mall and sana pun memang banyak resturant kan. We decided tuk pi mencekik kat Monte's.

As always lah, he will be accompanied kak Nikon... He was like super excited that day mengalahkan the birthday girl hahahah...and the pink GAP t-shirt was upon request from urs truly...okay ape kaler pink tu hahhaa..The menu memang boleh mata juling kat sini, macam2 kan nak di order. Oh actually ctot yang recommend pi sini cos she said sini makanan dia memang sedap. 

We ordered the starter, that is a mango salad with prawn.. This salad is very refreshing lah cos of the mango kan...didn't expect mango and prawn can tango very well together. The prawns are juicy and you can just taste how fresh they are.

This is the main course for pak supir, he ordered a carpetbag steak... The steak is nicely stuffed with oysters. He is soooooo head over heels with the steak and even bragged how good it is compared to the one we ate at Ben's hahahha.... Me also cukai that a bit and let me tell ya' smokin good man.

Oh this is moi, the ribeye steak... Juicy as I requested it to be. Portion wise, for me just nice not too chunky and memang fulfilling. The steak is moist and you don't need any gravy to go with it cos the juice itself is already flavorsome.   

Since the birthday girl is soooooo petamak, she ordered the a pasta too. Pak supir siap warning kalo aku tak habis kan no more birthday dinner after this!!! boleh tak macam tu.... Tapiiiii of cos lah akan habis, tq to him too cos tolong makan almost half of the pasta hahahha... Oh this is pasta alle Vongole, tapi version yang a bit soupy compare kat Citrus dia lebih dry...nevertheless still superb. The clams are sure very sweet in taste, and it will instantly tell you the freshness of the clams lah kan.

This is the so-called birthday cake hahaha... Since kat sini they don't really have cake, so we decided to go with brownies instead. The brownies is not that bad, the waiters are super awesome too for serenading a birthday song while sending the dessert to our table. Birthday girl of cos ler sengih sampai ke telinga. 

Thank you wakdapy for the wonderful birthday dinner, the food is superb, the ambiance is cosy. The wanita kejelitaan sila muntah 31 tahun is surely grateful and happy as how her tummy was that day. Alhamdulilah~~~~~ Okies tu jek nak citer, sila tunggu Part 3 pulak hahahha....daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~~~xoxo

P/S = I met her last month during the book signing event at Kinokuniya KLCC... will blog bout it sooniest. By the way this is my most favorite poem from her second book 'Lullabies'~~~ 

Oglio Olio With Beef Strips~~

Ari ahad merupakan ari yang best untuk bermalasan di rumah and eat your comfort food. For me benda yang paling sedap adalah PASTA!!!!! hahaha. Aku ni kalau makan kat luar kalau ada pasta mesti aku akan order padahal nak buat senang jek pun. Tapi tuk buat cabonara from scratch masih tak lepas cop sirim lagi. Tapi pasta yang aku slalu buat adalah Olio lah... slalu letak prawn or la ni skrang suka letak beef Strips. Beef strips ni banyak jual kat supermarket, korang carik jek nama gourmessa and jangan risau halal yek. 

Nak buat olio ni senang bangat...anak2 bulus kat umah ni boleh buat. You just need a chopped garlics the more the merrier, olive oil, capsicum, beef strips and obviously pasta lah. Boiled the pasta and angkat after dah al-dente, sautee the chopped garlics in olive oil then put the beef strips. Agak2 dah wangi tu put the capsicum and pasta. To add taste put salt, mixed herbs or oregano and chili flakes. After that pi amik pinggan then makannnnnnn~~~ see senang kan... Okay pi buat sekarang hahahah...okies tu jek nak share...daaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~~ xoxo

Throwback Birthday..#Part 1

Actually my birthday last month, tapi biasa lah masa tu mood I very der diva malas nak update blog...Tapi since sekarang mood kerajinan telah melanda jadi mari lah bercerita gamaknya..Okay ni part 1 tau hahahha...vogueee tak siap ada banyak part lagi...berdoa aja yang ia nya sampai part yang akhir kang tertiba kena rasuk angin malas part 1 aje lah sampai kiamat...hehehe 

Actually siap ada pre-post celebration ni hahhaha....diva sangat ni. Pak supir buat kek ni, bulan lepas he being possessed by the baking spirit so kemain berkobar-kobar nak buat kek. So jadi lah kek Cappuccino cheesecake yang sedap. So malam tu kami pi for our once a month caffeine session kat starbuck.  

The cake tastes better than the one kat SR, since this one is inspired by SR punya kek lah. Thank you pak supir siap buat and bawak kek n lilin segala bagai... Boss serius happy banget kan ni... hehehehe Oh tapi malam tu the caramel frappe tasted a bit bitter than usual. 

So malam tu jugak dapat hadiah birthday gamaknya, 2 bijik kasut cantekssss... Kenapa canteksss??? sebab aku yang pi pilih sendiri hahaha... Pak supir kata takde surprise2, kalo nak surprise nanti dia beli kan boot Pua Chu Kang nanti...prffftttttt sangat!!!! Oh macam belon kan muka kegumbiraan aku hahahha.... happpy sangat lah tu katanya :p Okiessss tu jek nak citer nnt aku sambung part 2...berdoa lah banyak2 supaya rajin...daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa~~~ xoxo

Wonderful People at Harley's & Good Coffee at Wood & Steel TTDI

After the vegetarian lunchdate with dewi, me and pak supir pi meet up with acix nana, fad and mummy-to-be Bella. Kami tolong depa pi beli barang2 tuk di sumbangkan tuk mangsa banjir kat kelantan. Pusat pengumpulan nya adalah a place called Harley's kat TTDI. That place is actually a makan place but the owner is very generous to let the volunteers to use the place untuk re-pack all the donated items before they send it to Kelantan.  

Cer korang teka apa yang mereka2 ni buat berdiri ramai2 kat tepi jalan macam ni? All these wonderful volunteers ni tengah tunggu kete berhenti. Tugas depa adalah pi serbu kete2 yang berhenti depan Harley's and help to unload all the donated items from kete. Bagus betul depa2 nie semua, macam piranha tau sangat effisen. 

After pi sent barang2 tu kami pi lepak kat coffee shop around that area. Since tengahari dah heavy lunch so coffee and cake would be perfect lah tuk minum petang. I ordered as usual latte lah kan... for the desserts kami ordered brownie with vanilla ice cream and Tiramisu... aku okay2 jek with brownie butttttttttt....

Aku sangat sukeeeeeeeeee Tiramisu!!!! Oh let me tell you, the tiramisu kat sini memang sedapppppppp giler cipan wei... kalo compare dengan tiramisu starbuck yang keras ketung tu memang macam heaven and earth lah.... hehehehe they must have used mascarpone instead of cheese cream... sangat lemak berkrim...

Wood & Steel ni konsepnya kalau korang nak lepak2 minum kopi boleh pi kat ground floor. Kalo nak makan heavy food or main course kena pi naik tingkat atas. Santai sangat kat sini, decor die memang mebeles giler. Oh all the lukisan and perabot tu depa jual tau. lama kitaorg lepak, yelah banyak benda nak discuss kan nie hehehehe... okiessss.. daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ~~xoxo
